Growing up around wood working and construction, I quickly learned that you didn’t have to buy things; you could make them! Add a love for music, art, and learning, lutherie became a way to challenge myself and remain engaged with my passions.
I strive to not only produce instruments that keep myself interested, but also keep others interested. If I can create an instrument that challenges the expectations of how an instrument should be made or should sound, it’s such a delight! What an amazing feeling for both a luthier and player to find something new.
I aim to integrate as much manufacturing tech, knowledge, and innovative practice into what I to do as possible. Where that’ll lead, who’s to say! Hopefully the instruments will reflect that progression and help to inspire others to find what they love to make.
