For 25 years, I have crafted classical concert guitars, each instrument a quest for the perfect resonance. Alongside this, I had perfected the construction of high-end archtops. Two different musical worlds that rarely met. Until now.
Designing it took over six gruelling months. It required combining every ounce of my design talent, merging the delicate nature of classical guitars with the bold structure of an archtop. Sketches were torn up, and measurements were meticulously recalculated late into the night. But finally, this one-of-a-kind creation was complete. It is named the SunBird Vienna.
When the nylon strings were struck for the first time, the workshop air came alive. The acoustic sound was nothing short of impressive—deep, rich, and remarkably clear. This was not just a guitar; it was a living piece of art.
Such a unique instrument demanded an equally exceptional player. The universe delivered the perfect match: the phenomenal Wolfgang Muthspiel became the proud owner. As a master of both jazz guitar and classical concert guitar, he understood the soul of the SunBird Vienna instantly. Watching the virtuoso’s fingers glide effortlessly across the strings, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride. I truly could not have wished for a better owner. The SunBird Vienna had found its perfect voice, and the world would soon get to hear it through upcoming sound samples.
