Elden Kelly
Guitarist, improviser, and composer Elden Kelly is an inspired hybrid musician whose playing blends classical and flamenco traditions with jazz, blues, and global fingerstyle music. Originally from northwestern Vermont and currently living in Boulder, CO, his unique technique and expressive sonic innovation on both fretted and fretless guitars have engaged audiences across diverse musical settings. His distinctive approach to the instrument has been recognized and valued by such legendary figures as the late Ken Parker, Fareed Haque, Lionel Loueke, and Bill Frisell.
A returning favorite at the Rocky Mountain Archtop Guitar Festival, Kelly frequently collaborates with The Archtop Foundation and the historic Blue Guitars collection. He is currently preparing for the release of his new solo album, a milestone project featuring the legendary Megan Wells Blue Princess guitar, bringing its exquisite and unparalleled voice to life through his deeply personal arrangements.
